However, I highly recommend having a separate, timed competitive wave that's eligible for awards or simple bragging rights (as most races do) to ensure your placements of top racers are accurate & all obstacles were indeed completed in the finish time recorded. This keeps race conditions comparable for competitve racers & lends confidence that top runners indeed came in ahead of participants in a later waves when bottlenecks start happening tempting people may skip obstacles etc. and thus "finish faster." It keeps it a more fair playing field - apples to apples, not apples to oranges.read less

Great race! I will be back next year! I had a blast this was way...read moreGreat race! I will be back next year! I had a blast this was way harder than the Spartan Race I did a few months earlier! I loved the course i just hated traversing that thick mud ditch at the beginning of the course.. i bet i was carrying 15 lbs of mud the first half of the race from that. Very challenging terrain i loved it!!!read less
